Bikini Bottom’s ultimate evil genius, Sheldon J. Plankton is a one-eyed, tiny green...well, plankton. Plankton may be tiny, but his plans to steal the Krabby Patty Secret Formula and run the Krusty Krab out of Bikini Bottom are MIGHTY! He’s the owner and founder of The Chum Bucket, the least popular restaurant under the sea - which drives him absolutely nuts.

Plankton has many enemies (according to him, anyway) but his number one arch-rival is the owner of the Krusty Krab and SpongeBob’s boss, Mr. Krabs. The little dude is constantly cooking up plans to out-do Mr. Krabs in his evil lair/secret laboratory with the help of his computer-wife named Karen and his college degree. But in spite of all his planning, Plankton’s plans don’t always go the way he…plans them. Hilarious for us, big time frustrating for him! 

Plankton’s first appearance in the original SpongeBob series is in the third episode of the first season, an episode titled ‘Plankton!’ He has since made appearances in each of the SpongeBob SquarePants theatrical films, as well as the spin-off series Kamp Koral: The Under Years.
