Iroh may appear to be little more than a good-humored uncle who only cares for life’s simple pleasures. He’s had to learn many hard life lessons, though, and strives to teach them to others. Perceptive and endlessly clever, Iroh brings calm and wisdom to every situation. He’s the one you always want at your side, whether he’s brewing you a cup of fine tea or backing you up in a fight. Iroh is also deeply connected to the Spirit World.

Iroh cares deeply for his nephew Zuko, patiently working to guide the troubled young prince on a more benevolent path. And he’s always got surprises up his sleeve. He discovered the peaceful side of firebending by studying its original masters, the dragons — but he’s also a leader in a secret society, the Order of the White Lotus, secretly working to help bring balance to the world!
