Nickelodeon’s Danny Phantom Ultimate Enemy Face-Off Game
(the “Game”)
OFFICIAL RULES

 

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO REGISTER OR PLAY. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All entries become property of Sponsors. The Game is open to legal residents of the United States who are between the ages of 5 and 15 at time of entry. Game not open to employees or the immediate family members of individuals employed by MTV Networks, The Quaker Oats Company, the Burger King Corporation, their parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, cable affiliates, licensees, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent judging organization, printing agents or any other sponsors (collectively “Sponsors”), or those who have won a grand prize in any Nickelodeon sweepstakes in the previous twelve (12) months.

  2. Game commences 12:00 p.m. (ET) July 29, 2005, and ends 12:00 p.m. (ET) September 9, 2005 (“Promotional Period”).

    All requests for codes must be received at the above address by September 2, 2005. (no return postage necessary for WA & VT Residents)

    Requests that are illegible, incomplete, sent overnight delivery or via telefax, printed by machine or otherwise mechanically reproduced will not be accepted. Game Sponsors are not responsible for requests that may be lost, delayed, mutilated and misdirected, or for typographical errors in the rules
  1. TO REGISTER AND PLAY ONLINE: (Obtain your parent or guardian’s permission before entering.)The Game will be posted on nick.com during the Promotional Period. To register a ghost in the Game, visitors must first log onto www.nick.com, then must either log-on to "myNick" with their registered "NickName," or must register with "myNick" in order to get a NickName .

    Once logged into www.nick.com, go to the Danny Phantom Ultimate Enemy Face-Off Game, where you will create your ghost and play the Game. Special ”Ultimate Enemy Codes” can be entered and used to further customize your ghost. Once you have logged into “My Nick,” and created a ghost, it will automatically become eligible for on-air selection.

    By creating and submitting a ghost, you are agreeing to have your "NickName" and ghost creation displayed on www.nick.com and on Nickelodeon if you are selected as a winner. By creating and submitting a ghost, you acknowledge compliance with these official rules including all eligibility requirements. Sponsors are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions, human error, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Game. If, for any reason, the Game is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of the Sponsors which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Game, Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Game. In the event of a dispute over who submitted the winning ghost, the holder of the winning "NickName" will be declared the winner. Collection of personally identifiable information will be in accordance with the Nickelodeon Online Privacy Policy as posted on nick.com. All players must have their ghosts created and submitted in the Danny Phantom Ultimate Enemy Face-Off Game at www.nick.com by 12:00 p.m. EST on September 9, 2005.

  1. The concept of the Game is as follows : Log onto www.nick.com, and then either log-on to "myNick" with your registered "NickName," or, if necessary, register with "myNick" in order to get a NickName. Once logged into www.nick.com, go to the Danny Phantom Ultimate Enemy Face-Off Game, where you will create your ghost and play the Game. Special ”Ultimate Enemy Codes” can be entered and used to further customize your ghost.) Look for the Danny Phantom Ultimate Enemy Face-Off ”Ultimate Enemy Codes” on i) specially marked packages of Cap’n Crunch, Cap’n Crunch Berries or Cap’n Crunch Peanut Butter Crunch cereals; ii) inside Burger King Kids’ Meal premiums, while supplies last ; iii) in the Nick.com newsletter; or iv) send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the address in Section 3. Once you create your ghost, you can compete with it online against other ghosts found in the Game and your ghost will automatically be entered for a chance to be featured on-air on Nickelodeon between September 12, 2005 and September 16, 2005 within the following programming times.
    • Between 6 p.m. EST/ 9 p.m. PST to 7.p.m. EST/ 10 p.m on PST Monday, September 12, 2005 to Thursday, September 15, 2005.
    • Between 8 p.m. EST/ 9 p.m. PST to 9 p.m. EST/ 10 p.m. PST on Friday, September 16, 2005.

    Winners will be selected on a rolling basis during the Promotional Period by National Sweepstakes Company, an independent judging organization, in a random drawing from among all eligible ghost submissions received. Odds of being selected to be featured on air will depend on the total number of ghosts submitted

  2. The prize(ing) is as follows :
    First Prize (16): Winners will have their ghost featured on-air on Nickelodeon during the 8 p.m. EST/9 p.m. PST to 9 p.m. EST/10 p.m. PST programming block between September 12 and September 16, 2005.

  3. Winner Notification and Qualification: Winners will not be notified.

    All prizes are non transferable and have no cash equivalent, except as indicated herein. Substitution of prizes by winners is prohibited. Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to substitute any prize with a prize of comparable value.

  1. By entering, participants (and their parent or legal guardian if participant is not the age of majority in his/her state of residence) acknowledge complian ce with these offi cial rules in cluding all eligibility requirements.
  1. All entries be come the property of Sponsors and will not be a cknowledged or returned ex cept as herein described. If needed, entry into this Sweepstakes constitutes Winner's (or their parent’s or legal guardian’s if winner is not the age of majority in his/her state of residence) agreement to sign any and all legal do cuments whi ch Sponsors may require.

By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants (or their parent or legal guardian if entrant is not the age of majority in his/her state of residence) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and Sponsors, which are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
  1. All interpretations of the rules and decisions by Sponsors are final. Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or any web site associated therewith; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
